March 22, 2025- BRAAAP & BEANS: THE ULTIMATE SLEDDER'S BASH

Our first-ever Braaap and Beans event at Ray Benson Snow Park on Saturday, March 22, kicked off with epic energy and mountain vibes! Even the partially overcast skies couldn't dampen the enthusiasm as snowmobilers, mountain adventurers, and outdoor lovers from across the region converged for an unforgettable day dedicated to celebrating our shared passion for grooming, trails, and alpine camaraderie.

The spirit of the mountains was alive around crackling outdoor fires set against the rustic backdrop of our barn, where laughter echoed, stories flowed, and friendships—old and new—were warmly rekindled. We were honored to have groomer operators from across Oregon join us, bringing decades of combined knowledge, hilarious tales of trail adventures, and a deep love for preserving our snowmobiling heritage. The buzz was electric, creating a sense of community pride and legacy that resonated through the entire day.

Our open house showcased behind-the-scenes action, giving guests an exclusive glimpse into our grooming operations and equipment—sparking awe and excitement among snow enthusiasts of all ages. Groomer rides thrilled kids as young as two, and adults in their golden years alike, bringing smiles, cheers, and memories that won't soon fade. Adding depth and meaning to our event were past district rangers from the 1980s, whose pioneering spirit helped shape the trails we love today.

Feast-wise, our club nailed it with hearty chili, mouthwatering German sausages, warm soft pretzels, and flavorful cheeses, all paired perfectly with ice-cold beer, water, and homemade deserts. And when our groomer operator won the 50-50 raffle, the roar of celebration captured the heart and soul of this community perfectly.

Huge thanks to every volunteer, groomer operator, and attendee who poured passion and hard work into making our inaugural event a roaring success. This is just the beginning, and we're already stoked about next year—more mountain stories, bigger fireside laughs, and even greater adventures await. Stay rad, keep braaapin', and we'll see you on the trails!
